Seamus Phan
Based in Singapore, Seamus Phan is a thinker and practitioner in leadership, Internet security, knowledge management (KM), marketing, and corporate wellness.
He has over 17 years of professional and training experience. He is a published author, speaker, meeting facilitator, writer, and independent biotech researcher. He is frequently invited as an analyst and commentator for TV, radio and print.
Seamus and co-author Ter Hui Peng wrote Dot ZEN to help senior business executives see a whole new way of managing marketing, human resources and the use of the Internet in a non-aggressive, enlightened manner.
As an independent biotech researcher and naturopathic philosopher, his bestselling book, co-authored with brother CJ, This Body This Life (www.thisbodythislife.com), has been featured in national radio, business newspapers, US journal, and lifestyle magazines.
Seamus developed networked learning systems in the 1980s. In the areas of Internet and network security, Seamus was a Singapore pioneer in commercial Internet adoption and implementation.
McPhan has designed, consulted and implemented large-scale Internet and knowledge management sites. Seamus has been actively involved as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) for McGallen & Bolden (an Intelligent20 Finalist), helping the firm design, develop and consult in areas of Internet security, training and audits.
Seamus is also trained as a Chinese painter, and has learned yoga, meditation, and Goju-Ryu Karate.
