Honorable Ronald B. Leighton

Judge Leighton was sworn in as a United States District Court Judge for the Western District of Washington on November 26, 2002.

Prior to that date, he had been a trial lawyer for 26 years with the firm of Gordon, Thomas, Honeywell, Malanca, Peterson & Daheim, specializing in complex litigation, including professional liability.

He is a Past President of the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers and the American Board of Trial Advocates (Washington Chapter). He is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Society of Barristers.
