Peter Jarvis

Peter Jarvis practices in the area of litigation, with a focus on attorney disciplinary and legal ethics matters, as well as general contract and business matters. He advises lawyers, law firms and corporate legal departments in disciplinary defense and ethics matters, and serves as an expert witness in such matters.

In addition, his litigation practice has included the handling of antitrust, appellate, business tort, general contract and UCC litigation, labor and employment litigation, product liability, tax, title insurance and trademark litigation.

Prior to joining Hinshaw & Culbertson in Portland in August 2003, Mr. Jarvis was a partner with Stoel Rives, LLP, which he joined in 1976 and became a partner of in September 1982. For more than a decade at Stoel Rives, Mr. Jarvis had primary responsibility for serving the in-house ethics and related risk avoidance needs of the firm.
