Patricia McEvoy

Dr. Patricia McEvoy officially became a communication consultant in 1987, although she has been communicating for a living since 1970. First as a teacher, then a technical writer/trainer and then a university teacher. Now she specializes in helping attorneys and business leaders improve their communication skills.

Pat's consulting in the legal field includes witness preparation, jury selection, expert testimony, voir dire question design, supplemental juror questionnaire design and opening statement and closing argument consultation. Additionally, Pat is an expert in research and leads ZMF’s capabilities in this area.

Pat has been published in many prestigious industry publications and has been asked to comment on communication issues for television, print and radio interviews across the country. She is frequently invited to speak to legal and business associations. She has been an elected Board Member in the American Society of Trial Consultants (ASTC) and an annual convention planner.

Before earning a Ph.D. in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa, Pat received an M.A. in education from Northern Arizona University and a B.A. in English from the University of Iowa.
