Matt Kenney

Matthew R. Kenney

Matt received his undergraduate degree at Holy Cross College and his law degree at Georgetown University. He practiced 5 years in Washington, D.C. with the law firm of Howrey & Simon, concentrating his practice in antitrust litigation.

For the next 17 years he practiced with the Seattle law firm of Lane, Powell, Moss & Miller, concentrating his practice in antitrust and commercial litigation. In November, 1987 he joined the U.S. Peace Corps, where he served as an agro-forester in Niger, West Africa.

In the fall of 1990, he joined the firm's commercial litigation practice group. In 2004 Matt received the Pro Bono Award from the Washington State Bar Association in recognition of his many years of service to the community.

Matt currently spends two mornings each week volunteering for Northwest Justice Project and participates in the King County Bar Association Neighborhood Legal Services program.
