James L. Magee
Jim is a member of the Graham & Dunn PC's Litigation Group.
In 35 years of practice, he has tried civil and criminal cases in virtually every area of the law, including antitrust, securities, intellectual property, technology, environmental, construction, and malpractice.
He is the author of "Expediting Pretrials and Trials of Antitrust Cases," and has tried numerous complex antitrust cases, including:
- Class-action antitrust price fixing case for a Northwest and Alaskan fish processor
- Civil Rico and fraud case for Minebea, an international manufacturer
- Shrimp Peelers patent-antitrust cases for Laitram, Inc. and other defendants
- Sherman and Clayton Act cases in the dairy and poultry industries for Darigold, Inc. and Western Farmers Association
- Patent-antitrust case for Litton Business Systems, Inc.
- Trade secret-antitrust case for Libbey-Owens-Ford, Inc. in the commercial aircraft industry
- International antitrust case for Makita, USA in the tool industry
- nternational Law. In addition to his trial work Jim handles international commercial and trade regulation matters
Jim is the National Chairman of the Professionalism Committee for the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is also a member of the Committee on Interrelationships with the Judiciary for the ACTL and a member of the International Society of Barristers.
