Jeffrey Fisher

Jeffrey Fisher is a co-chair of the appellate practice group at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, in Seattle. His practice includes criminal and civil appeals, with an emphasis on constitutional issues.

During the past year, Mr. Fisher was lead counsel for the defendants/petitioners in Crawford v. Washington and Blakely v. Washington. He also is a visiting lecturer at the University of Washington School of Law, where he teaches a class on the U.S. Supreme Court.

Prior to moving to Seattle, he served as a law clerk to Justice John Paul Stevens on the U.S. Supreme Court and to Judge Stephen Reinhardt on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

In 2004, Jeffrey Fisher received the Washington Young Lawyers Division Professionalism Award. Read the complete story on the WSBA website
