James S. Rogers
James S. Rogers is a partner in Seattle's Rogers & Fleck, PLLC. His practice is limited to serious personal injury and product liability litigation.
Mr. Rogers is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Rogers was selected for inclusion in the 2003-2004 and 2005-2006 editions of "The Best Lawyers in America."
He has been named by "Seattle Magazine" as one of eight personal injury lawyers in its upcoming January/February 2005 "Top Lawyers" article, an honor he also received in 2003.
Mr. Rogers was the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association's 1998 Trial Lawyer of the Year, and in May, 2002, was honored with WSTLA's President's Award for his contribution to the civil justice system.
Mr. Rogers was on the Board of Governors of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (1993 - 2002), and is a past president of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association. He is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Attorney's Information Exchange Group, a national automotive product liability litigation group. Mr. Rogers is a past president of the Western Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Rogers has lectured at over 100 legal seminars sponsored by state and national trial lawyer and bar associations. Mr. Rogers is Editor-In-Chief of "Anatomy of a Personal Injury Lawsuit", 3rd Edition, published by ATLA Press, and co-moderator of "Anatomy of a Personal Injury Lawsuit: The Video Series".
He is an author of articles published in "Trial" magazine, and a contributing author to "Handling Motor Vehicle Accident Cases", published by Callaghan.
Mr. Rogers annotated a chapter in Peter Perlman's Opening Statements, and wrote a chapter entitled "Claims Involving Faulty or Defective Equipment - Is There a Companion Product Liability Claim?" in Automobile Accident Litigation Deskbook, published by WSTLA.
