James Celto Vache
Professor James Celto Vaché, after graduating with high honors from the University of Washington School of Law, spent his first years of practice at the Attorney General's Office. In 1975, he began teaching at Gonzaga School of Law, where he has been ever since.
He served for five years as its Dean. Professor Vaché has taught most core law school courses, and his primary interests currently include professional responsibility, modern American jurisprudence, and ethical issues in the representation of children.
He has served on the WSBA's Rules of Professional Conduct Committee, and its Access to Justice Committee. Professor Vaché now chairs the Washington State Executive Ethics Board.
