Harry Schneider, Jr.
Harry Schneider joined Perkins Coie in Seattle in 1979, and has been a partner since 1986. His areas of practice include general litigation, trial practice and arbitration before state and federal courts and administrative bodies.
He places special emphasis on litigation involving professional liability, intellectual property, complex financial and commercial disputes, and fiduciary or estate and trust matters.
Mr. Schneider is a widely published author in many areas of law, including Intellectual Property, Attorney Ethics, and Attorney Malpractice. He also speaks around the United States and is a highly regarded panelist on legal professional issues.
Representative experience includes:
- Boeing Securities Litigation
- Nintendo v. TSMC - a federal court hi-tech litigation involving integrated circuit design and manufacture
- ZZ Top v. Chrysler - a federal court copyright infringement case
- Kake Tribal Corp. v. Sealaska Corp. where he represented Alaska Native Village Corporation in an action to rescind and/or reform multimillion-dollar timber sale transactions and recover damages for misrepresentation and fraud; this multiple-year litigation resulted in a favorable settlement valued in excess of $30 million.
