David Beninger

David M. Beninger, a partner in the Luvera Law Firm, joined that firm in 1988. In his accomplished career, Beninger has obtained more than 20 verdicts or settlements in excess of $1 million.

Beninger's more notable outcomes — many of national scope — include the largest result ever for the death of a minor and the largest total settlement for workers killed in an Anacortes, WA, refinery explosion in 1998. He is also the youngest attorney in Washington state to obtain a trial verdict and settlement at more than $1 million.

Beninger has been selected as a "Super Lawyer" in each annual edition of Washington Law & Politics. He recently was recognized as one of the publication's top 25 Super Lawyers, a select group nominated by other lawyers in the state.

He is also a member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association Amicus Committee and chairperson for the Center for Public Rights, a nonprofit organization focused on constitutional, consumer and public rights.
