Arthur Lachman

Art Lachman is a Seattle lawyer focusing on lawyer ethics and loss prevention/risk management issues.

A 1989 graduate of the University of Washington School of Law, where he served as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Washington Law Review, he clerked on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, has practiced as a commercial litigation attorney, and has taught civil litigation subjects at both Puget Sound area law schools.

He formerly chaired Graham & Dunn's Ethics/Loss Prevention Committee and served as the firm’s Director of Professional Development.

Mr. Lachman is currently serving on the WSBA Rules of Professional Conduct Committee, and is a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers and the ABA Center for Professional Responsibility. He holds bachelors and graduate degrees in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
